Aardman STAR WARS ‘Visions’

Our latest Lunch & Learn session was extra special. Magda Osinska, Director/Animator (from Aardman) came to krow and shared the short film she created for the Stars Wars Visions series – ‘I am your Mother’, available on Disney+.

Magda’s inspiration for her film came from being a mum herself; she wanted to create a story about the relationship between a mother and daughter. When we are kids, we often don’t appreciate our parents, the sacrifices they make, and all too often we feel embarrassed by them.

In ‘I am your Mother’, a young pilot, Anni (Charithra Chandran), who is embarrassed by her sweet but clingy mum, Kalina (Maxine Peake), must team up with her for a madcap family race at the academy. Along the way, their relationship is tested by the elements, their old ship, other racers…and each other!
