krow volunteer days
Here at Krow, we provide our team with the opportunity to dedicate two days each year to volunteer for causes they are passionate about. This initiative allows them to make a meaningful difference while fostering their personal growth.
Recently, our Account Director, Lolly, used one of her volunteer days to help Bino, a 3-year-old cat found wandering the streets of Southern Italy. Bino had endured extreme heat and had a severe burn wound on his neck.
During a summer 2024 trip to Italy, Lolly discovered Bino and immediately took him to the vet. He was treated, vaccinated, castrated, and microchipped, but tests revealed he was FeLV-positive, a condition that weakens his immune system and adds to his health challenges.
Determined to give Bino the care he deserved and find him a forever home, Lolly embarked on a mission to bring him back to the UK. After navigating extensive paperwork and fundraising efforts, she was ready to make the 2,400-mile journey. Over two days, Lolly and Bino traversed six taxis, eight car rides, three trains, one Eurostar, and a flight.
Despite unexpected delays and additional costs along the way, Lolly successfully brought Bino to the UK, where he is now thriving. Back to his affectionate and chatty self, Bino is enjoying a second chance at life, thanks to Lolly’s dedication.
